Who we are

Valerie Dunham, LCSW, BCD is a board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. She is the founder and Clinical Director of Well3Plus Collaborative Care, LLC and a native of Atlanta; born and raised in Riverdale, GA.

Valerie has been licensed since 2017 having graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Georgia State University after having obtained her undergraduate degree from Kennesaw State University. Her experience in community settings and the Veterans Administration (VA) have prepared her with the knowledge, skills and experiences to work with great people experiencing difficult circumstances.

Valerie’s therapeutic approach is centered in evidence-based practices, expounding on clients’ strengths to increase functionality, independence and improve quality of life. She addresses clients’ needs from a holistic perspective which allows for sessions to take place in traditional and non-traditional settings. Valerie believes in self-determination and will not tell you what to do but will act as your guide, leaving the right to choose and decision making to you. When working with Valerie, you can expect a top tier therapeutic collaboration with a down home feel. 

Valerie is a mother, proud United States Army Veteran and enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, reading, sewing, traveling, roller skating and volunteering. She is a Harry Potter fanatic and likes to laugh, dance and have fun.
